Samanta García is a Colombian artist based in Atlanta, GA. Her trajectory starts as a creator in diverse contemporary music ensembles and technofeminist collectives in Bogota, in her interest for experimenting with noise, programming and hacker education. Samanta is also part of the metal band High Rate Extinction.

Samanta's work delves in the potential of technologies agency to explore the darkness of unknown, digital material and melancholy sensations


Samanta has facilitated workshops, residences, acted as lecturer on questions relating to cyberfeminism and has perform visuals and sound in festivals such as Mutek, Wrong Digital Biennale, Women in New Music, Rock al Parque, Knotfest, Hell & Heaven and Raw session Rolling Stone.

Samanta’s recent work includes a first sound fiction album ESTOMA (2023) and her visual label Dark Mesh
